Polls are valuable tools to get feedback from your team. Social Squared allows you to set up polls in your topics.
How to set up a poll
Open a new topic or reply to a topic.
Insert some text.
Then select Create Poll.
Add your question for the poll.
Then add your poll response options. You can add more than the default two, by selecting + Add Option.
Other Poll options
If you want the responder to be able to select more than one option, select the Multiple Selections toggle choice.
You also have the option to set a date range where the poll will be active. If you want this poll to always be open to votes, leave this section blank.
If you want to share the poll results with the responders, select “Share aggregated results with responders.” This option is enabled by default, but you can disable it.
Preview the Poll
You can preview your poll by clicking Preview.
If you are satisfied with the preview, click Save.
Export Poll results
After creating your poll and receiving some responses, you can export the current result data to an Excel file.
Delete a Poll
If you want to delete the poll, click the Delete button. Note: polls cannot be altered once made. But you can delete them and create a new poll.
