General release information
The current release of Lightning Forms can be downloaded from our Download Center. Generally, new features are released in version numbers ending with 0.0, and those packages must be downloaded and then updated in your App Catalog. Major new features may be released as a major release number, ending in 0.0.0.
Between releases, we may from time to time provide updates via CDN, for example, to fix reported issues, or to support Microsoft changes. Those updates will come to you automatically if you are on the current release, and you will see a new version number (usually with a change in the penultimate digit) on the license page of the web part's configuration pane. However, if you are using the product on SharePoint server, or on a SharePoint Online dedicated or GCC tenant, you will need to download a new package to get interim updates. In that case, if you require an update that's provided in an interim version, please contact [email protected] so we can make that package available to you.

New Features
- Comments are now supported on the Display and Edit Forms (SharePoint Online only)

- An Invite Guest User action is now available in the Action Builder (SharePoint Online only). This creates an invitation to an external user (if allowed in your tenant). Requires the User.Invite.All Graph API permission to be granted.
- Added "New" button to the library control with support for creating Microsoft Office files (SharePoint Online only). Note: The "New" button is not supported on New/Edit forms if the library is used as a sub item.
Improvements
- HTML content is now supported in the Generate Document template: [[html ([[placeholder]])]]. See Lightning Tools — Document Generator for usage notes.
- Implemented a Lazy Loading option for sublists/libraries, to improve the loading times of large numbers of items.
- Added an option in the Field configuration panel to customize Field labels on the form. This can also be an expression, so it can be dynamic (for example, to support multiple languages).
- Added the ability to customize the Form Title and Command bar Action buttons, including to make them dynamic using an expression.
- Added an inline rich text editor for multiple lines of text columns (Rich text and Enhanced rich text types), an improvement over SharePoint's built-in editor.
- Added ability to search lists by name when selecting in Action Builder (e.g., Add list item, Update item, Set variable, etc.) (SharePoint Online only)
- Added the ability to copy/paste action button configurations from the clipboard
